Default Differential Breather?

Ive seen some on ebay, and thought it was a good idea. Has anyone ever used one? I know thats a vulnerable spot when you go through mud or water when your differentials are hot.

So you'd rather have your diff fill up with water/mud than get hot?

All i have ever run is a piece of 3/8 line hose clamped to the nipple on the housing the rearend wont get hot enough to hurt anything as long as its full of diff fluid and you damn sure dont want mud in there if you can help it
