Worst case, if you have a late model (91-93) you can swap the vacuum turbo actuator with a normal mechanical one. The vacuum system can be easily made with normal hose and fittings if you are keeping the stock automatic transmission. Otherwise the shutoff actuator is the only vacuum device necessary on the engine.
The EGR, EGR computer, vacuum amplifier pods, airflow meter and intake butterfly can be eliminated entirely. The injection pump only cares about the throttle lever and intake manifold pressure.
EDIT: Ah, I forgot the oil pressure sender is electric on that engine. Its a simple 1 wire variable resistance ground.

The glow plug wiring harness is separate but you could fabricate one.
The engine harness goes all over and is a real pain to R&R. Not everything is mechanical as claimed previously, the injection pump has an electronic idle control. This is not required for engine operation but it really is nice when it's working correctly; it maintains a steady idle speed as the AC compressor turns on & off, etc. You'd need the computers and wiring to make that work - preferably from a 1987 602.96 turbo, but the 90-93 would also work.

That is not needed. The engine will idle at 500rpm and can be adjusted up using conventional adjustments. The injection pump governor will automatically adjust idle speed to compensate for loads, just as it has for decades in the past.
