I was going to buy one but the better half said no.........it was a nice car.

It was an 84 300SD Turbo Diesel had 142,000 on the clock

i would buy this one in a minute.....
but my wife would never go for it ....she would say that it was too much like her old cadillac.....also she would say who wants a diesel and where could i even buy diesel at some old truck stop?

Nice car......Justin and i have a friend that bought a 82 the other day. He plans to do a vegi conversion on it.

Nice thing about these IDI motors is they are bullet proof and will tolerate a single tank vegi set up...just put a couple line heaters on the stock fuel system and put the vegi in the main tank! Simple!
I'm looking to get one for the wife...

CHenry I will check to see if the car is still around it's in S.E. Idaho dealership wanted $2000.00 for it.

Lookin for a picture of what I saw in Las Vegas just last night (Friday night) and didnt notice what it was until I saw the CDI badge on it. Not the prettiest car but sleek lookin.

I'm Steve and Justin's friend that bought the 82 300D to do the veggie conversion:

What it looked like the day I bought it with 227,900 miles on it:

So far I've done a thorough cooling system flush, did an injection system cleaning (AKA Diesel Purge), Cleaned up the engine some and broke my t-stat housing. Have a new housing on its way from Bend, OR as of yesterday.
