Great engine for repowering from a big block
That's it....actually it's a 300hp model (STZE??) but supposedly was 'tweaked' by the shop we bought it from....it has a fuel cooler on it, fwiw.

Bravo 3 with some kind of gearset change.....(not much up on what was done).

Anyways...it works very well. Plenty of speed, good power, great economy, and didn't break the bank to install.

My dad knows the skinny....I'm just the grunt force.

i think i saw some where you only need half the hp on a diesel outboard compaired to a gasser.
50hp diesel to 100hp gas

Unfortunately our dear EPA has determined that the Yanmar outboards are not good enough for you to own.

The emission output was beyond what the EPA has determined to be an acceptable level.
These engines come up on fleabay from time to time and are available in the islands.
