Is a chip or programmer on a 10 gmc 2500 traceable. Will dealership be able to trace it.

inline tuners like the EDGE ez are untraceable if you remove them before taking them to the dealer

the ECM stores some information and if the truck if commanding more fuel or boost or rail pressure than stock the Tech II can tell, but you need a good mechanic who knows what they are looking for, but if they have reason to believe it is tuned they will find out

On DPF trucks the number of regens are stored in the computer.

so my buddy wants to bye my edge juice with attitude for his lbz duramax . will there be a problem switching it over to a different truck or will it switch over just fine and my truck is an lmm
