I am not 100% sure on the max HP. GMC2500HD did a nice write up about it. Maybe he will chime in when he sees this thread.

I know that mine was holding at 500+ rwhp. You will get firmer shifts and better line pressure to hold the power you want to throw at it. It will stop some of the defuel, I know it did in mine when I installed it. With the quad stealth, what kind of dyno/hp numbers are you seeing??

Well you should be fine then. Might be just like mine was, you WILL still tear it up but it will just take longer. I was very hard on my truck and it had 16K miles on it when I got rid of it and I did the transgo at ~4K miles, so almost 12K miles of tearing on it and it still shifted firm and right on time...

The Transgo won't cure all your problems but will definetly help. If you add that and a converter your trans would probably be enough to hold what you have right now.

I have the Transgo Jr and run my PPE on level 4 all the time..basically it increases line pressure to hold the hp..The most advantage is in the 5th and 6 gear where the line pressure needs to be increased as it is very low from factory..If u have a 5 speed alli it will be a bit more work to get the holding power. The 6 speed has a lot better tc than the 5 and will hold way more...But I must warn u if u get into it hard u will see some slip in the 5th and 6 gear. 1st to fourth seems good.. On my dash hawk i will see some slip in the big gears just not enough to limp it..but it would not take long i assume before that would happen if ya kept doing that...so my next stage will be the full suncoast 4 it should hold all my PPE can put out...I think level 4 is 225 at the crank....
