Im looking to upgrade my allison. I limp it pretty often. I work at a diesel perfornace shop but we deal mostly in Cummins so im new to the duramx/allison world. I know we use all suncoast on our dodge tranny but the PPE Stage 5 kit caught my attention. If anyone has used this kit or know of anyone that has tell me what you think of it.

 

I have heard nothing but good from both suncoast and PPE kits, the New suncoast kit uses new half friction, half steel clutch disks, allows them to pack more disks into the trans

But the PPE is a very good kit as well

 

Yea i knew suncoast was good but hadnt heard much on PPE. I guess we will see how good the PPE kit is. Im gona rebuild it myself so hopefully everything works out

 

I have also heard very good things about PPE's transmissions.

 

every one i know that runs them is happy with it ... i also plan on doing the ppe set up ... the deciding factor for me was the fact that they are only 15-20 min from me so if i every have problems or questions not only can i call but i can always just drop by
