26 bucks might be worth a shot if you gain about 10 psi from it...

the boost valve has two orfices in it, one to let air go to the wastegate very slowly, and the other to vent off that air trying to get to the wastegate. theyre pin holes basically

So do you think putting the boose valve and running a programmer on an 01 duramax with a stock tranny will be to much? I currently run it at a 165 hp stage and it runs fine with no sign of slippage (of course i'm not in it all the time).

How many times have you limped it? I've only limped mine once in the 6 months that i've ran the programmer at the 165 hp tune and ever since that time I haven't limped it since. I'm just curious if you think that it'll be a bad idea to put the boost valve on my truck but turn the tuner down to maybe the 110 hp tune. The reason being that i want the vavle is due to my wastegate being wide open so the slightest amount of boost being built the wastegate kicks in and releases the air>
