DIY manual boost controller
A member PM'ed me about this mod but as I just joined and my post count is under 10, i can't reply so I'm posting it here.
I highly recommend you have a boost gauge before doing this mod. With my superchips micro tuner (aka "pooperchip") I'm making 20-22psi max right now and I have it cranked down decently but I'm gonna see if i can crank it down further when I get my new intake horn in. However, its the low end thats really impressive, boost seems to build a lot quicker!
This link will take you to a post on another forum that tells you how to build it. DIY boost controller

thats awesome thanks for posting.
I was curious tho, before i attempt this, it wont damage anything ( other than not following directions ) as in it wont cause electrical or computer issues. Obviously if i was to pay out $$$ a chip would effectively do the same thing, but i am on a budget. Im new to this site as well as owning a diesel so i could be just paranoid.
