Your tranny should be fine my 01 holds my programmer just fine but i have the race edition programmer that tunes up to 215. I run it at 165 hp most of the time and i've never had it slip or anything but have put it into limp mode once. It only goes into it when going into overdrive, but if you turn your tow haul button on and get on it like that it won't go into limp mode. I have noticed tho if i were driving and raced someone at a rolling 30 and got on it, it didn't go into limp mode as long as i stayed on it the whole time untill i topped out. Just don't be crusing at 55 or so and hammer on it and you shouldn't have any worries about limp mode.
