My buddie wants to chip his truck. what would be his best option?

 

Whats his price range?

 

chips and tuners vary the most i think is somewhere around 900

but that kind of chip would make waay more then enough power, people have run low 13's with just one tuner

 

dunno what his price range is. he wants to get an edge but ive herd good about efi live. not a chevy guy so i dunno. he wants a little more power but needs a truck he can use if you know what i mean. needs to tow some horses sometimes.

 

efi live is very time consuming and its for the guy who wants to go to the next level and beyond.

If he just wants a little extra power he could get an edge, Duramaximizer, banks, predator, quadzilla tuner. the transmission wont hold over 70hp forever so make sure to keep it under that power level. for daily driving and drop it down for towing.
