turbo upgrade
i am going to do a upgrade and was worndering how hard is it to change... im buying the 42r from ppe and getting there pedistal.. i am just wondering how hard it is to change out..
There's alot of vendors here that will give you better pricing on PPE products than they will!
I've got a LB7 with a supermax and a LBZ with a gt40 on it. The PPE pedestal and install kit including instructions have a LONG way to go (No offense Dan) I spent 4 or 5 days trying to find install information that worked. The pedestal was not square , Nothing major just silly little things.
On the other hand the Supermax BD kit went in like a charm without issue.

PS the gt40 may spool a little harder, but the Supermax or whatever it's called is right there with it. Boost pressures are close in the top depending on fueling. I'm fully convinced that the Bd Charger spools just as good with a Edge juice with attitude as the GT40 does with a hot +2 et or efi live.
