Cognito makes a nice kit that you can run 33's on. Or you can just go with a full 6" lift and run some 35's. I do not have this truck anymore but I had an RCD 6" with 35's on it at the time this picture was taken.

For the inexpensive solution, 2" blocks in the rear available through GM and cranking the t-bars will get you a nice stance and still a good ride. Stock wheels with 285's is common or swing as high as my 305/50-20s or 305/55-20s.

On that note, where can I get a torsion bar cranking tool? Does it make sense to get a shop to do it or would it be cheaper to buy the tool and only use it once? No one rents these sort of tools do they? (sorry for so many questions)

To crank the t-bars, it only takes a 15mm or an 18mm (can't remember the exact size right now) socket and ratchet.

You can use a gear puller to unload the tbar, but be very careful. The tool is ~$100 not really worth the cost if you not adjusting them all the time. No one rents them any more that I know of for sure Merchant Automotive use to. Most people just jack the truck up and get the front tire off the ground. That takes a lot of the load off the bolts and penetrating oil.
