Default Looks or Performance?

I wanna have something new on my truck around christmas time..
But I'm not quite sure what I want. I want to make my truck so people will see it going down the road and say "Dude that's frikkin sweet!" However I really want to have a fast truck. So when i blow by people they are like "Holy crap what was that blur??" . My performance mods I'm lookin at are Gauges, PPE programmer, and tie rod sleeves(yeah i know the programmer is the only performance thing)

Or... I want to get a nice set of 33's and some 18"wheels... I am looking at Nitto Terra Grapplers right now. They aren't to expensive and look good. However I know nothing about them. I'm not sure if that's what I want. Any ideas on tires and wheels let me know. Pictures are greatly appreciated.

I just want ya'lls opinion on the situation. Whichever one I dont choose I will probably get around Feb.
(oh and if I get the tires and wheels I am going to get a leveling kit/maybe lift)

I've got to second that, even running a stock tune I can heat her up pretty good. Put bigger wheels and tires and that'll make it work a bit harder doing the same errands and I think you'd be safer to know what it's doing.

hes 2wd, he would really have to mess up to bend the tie rods with out the sleeves.

i wouldn't get them unless your one bad driver

wheels and tires, hummer h2 rims look sweet on 35's, you migh have to trim and crank up the tortion bars alot but they look awesome.

4 inch exhaust let that lb7 roar

yeah see i had no idea if i still needed the sleeves since i ended up getting 2wd.
and i'm tryin not to go with too big of tires cuz i wanna get decent gas mileage still.
and yeah i do some crazy stuff while driving but i know what i'm doing. i used to power slide around town back when i used to have a car. (which is why i went through almost 2 sets of tires in 20k miles) but the tires i have on my truck now aren't gonna be very good in a few months which is why i'm considering the upgrade.

yeah.... i already have to turn my truck off whenever i go through drive thru's
it's pretty funny. I love my trucks to be loud. but what is the difference in a turbo back exhaust and just regular ole straight pipe or cat back?

well since you got a lb7 its down pipe back, one company makes an aftermarket down pipe but its not even worth the money on a stock turbo.

to when u order a turbo back its actually going to be down pipe back, and i got a 5inch from mbrp straight piped and i love it. you have to yell to have a conversation when the truck is on.

yours prolly dont have a cat on it, so a cat back would be fontpipe flange back if your lookin at the exhaust from below. i got the complete exhaust for the egt reduction and the big tone, even though i might of lost some hp getting a 5 inch than a 4 inch. but i got big hp comming.

the truck is pretty quitet compared to how it would be straight piped at idle.

maine difference is sligh hp gain the more you remove, and cooler egts. but bigger more noticable difference you will see is sound.

one thing you can ad is a ppe boost increase valve, takes about a minute to install and i seen a 2psi increase of boost on my truck, even though im making way more boost than what the valve supposedly makes over stock

Yeah i actually looked a that boost increase valve. And i have looked at the mbrp pipes.
I originally wanted to end up spending about 6000+ within the next 2-2&1/2 years to get some crazy power outta my truck. but now that i have a 2wd it seems like it may be pointless since the more power i get the more weight i'll have to put in the back to race... And i may end up going with getting all of it and just asking everyone for money for chirstmas. All of it as in wheels, tires, gauges, PPE, exhaust. And i may order in the boost increase valve tomorrow

exhaust and gauges may come in pretty soon too.
oh and i forgot to ask. if i do decide to get way up there in power should i wait to get the 5" exhaust since it's gonna be a couple years.... and is yours dual?
