Oh, and on the Terra Grapplers, only get those if you like to buy tires every 20k miles or less if you are spinning your tires a bunch.

Train horns are always a good addition. Not visible, but usefull.
Alright thatnks for getting us back on track. Yeah so i would rather have my tires last longer than 20k miles. What's your opinion for a good tire?
And yes I have been thinking about train horns and they are a definate. But they wont go on till after my first set of performance stuff an my wheels and tires.

(Yes i know i help get everyone off topic and i'm cool with talkin about clothes and food, just as long as we talk about the real reason for this thread some too.

What kind of driving are you doing? Do you want to look like a 4wd? If so, you can't beat the BFG All-Trerrain's The best all around tire out there. DangerousDuramax has the Nitto Dune Grapplers on his 2wd and they seem to wear well. I think he's 40k into his tires now and needing replacing due to tire spin. I'd figure you are probably in the same boat as he is. Oh, and his black Rockstar wheels are bad *** looking. The American Racing Mojive Teflon are bad *** too American Racing Mojave coated with teflon

I think someone mentioned before H2 wheels, those look good on our trucks too.

It will pretty much be regular ole driving. and right now i am lookin at these Ultra Wheel Baja Champs. They look alot like the ones you gave me the link to except they have a an alluminum machine wash around the lip. and the bolts are the same color. it looks good.

OH! and i found a guy in my town that does some diesel work and he said he could sell me an edge juice with attitude for like $450. or a PPE hot box for $800. Sound good?

BFG's are good tires, also like MasterCrafts are pretty good and there alot cheaper than the BFGs...I think most people with horns mount them underneath the bed against the frame rail and point them straight to the ground so they thump the pavement when ya let em loose at a Jay walker

I wouldnt worry about wheels.. Honestly. Get a transgo Shift kit, PPE mod your airbox, and get an exhaust.. People cant tell what kinda wheelz you got if your flyin by them.

Also, I would try to use the vendors here on the site. It will more than likely be the same cost or less than your local diesel shop. Plus these vendors work hard to provide us with the best prices they can. Also, our vendors are always just a phone call away if you need any help.

What do you mean by mod your airbox? And my reason for wheels and tires is beause i will need new tires in a few months. And the reason i want wheels is cuz i'm a big looks person. Which is why i wanted a black truck cuz most everything looks good with black. But wheels will be my only looks upgrade till after i get most the performance mods i want.

You should mod the airbox, like one of these DIY's that we did..

There isnt a need to buy a cold air intake, you open the airbox up and it will help when you start adding performance products.
