Just got my new LBZ CP3 in my LB7 and new fuel junction block and turbo horn milled out while I was at it. Broke it in. Hooked up my Banks Six Gun and right off the bat my tranny three the P0700 and P0735. I'm not towing anything besides a fishin boat or atv so I'm not abusing it too horribly. Only other mods I've got are cold air and 4" SS exhaust. Thinking about dropping tranny and getting the transgo sk and slapping it back in if y'all think it'll hold the extra 150 hp and 385 tq. Thanks for any advice

 

I'm no expert but why not put a suncoast kit or ppe kit in while you already have the transmission apart? I can find the forum posts from Mike L on duramax forum where he talks about the torque converter not holding the extra power. Those kits come with a beefed up torque converter to handle the extra power. Thats what I plan to do to my transmission when I get the money saved up.

 

The tcm detected o/d slipping. You can clear it and keep on goin but its gonna come back and trip sooner and sooner over time. A performance tc and valve body upgrade would help alot but, if your clutch packs are pretty worn id go ahead and go through the whole trans.
