first off you can only get a cummins in a 650 and up, not in the 550 and smaller the only thing close to what you are talking about is the brazilian F100 which looks like a superduty but its a shortbed with a 4b cummins in it thats what the 3.9/5.9 belt routing sticker is its not for the US market

second the new ford motor coming out is a 6.7 litre the ultimax is the 6.9 litre that is the relpacement for the duramax

and as for the 5.0 cummins V8 is the half ton rams it is going to happen if you open the hood theres a belt routing thing for the 5.0 cummins diesel how soon its going to happen im not sure

i love the cummins diesel and i also love the ford interior, put them together and i would be satisfied, however i am under the impression that ford actually owns cummins and they make twice as much dough by selling the motor instead of producing it for themselves....was i mis informed?

Obama wants to tighten an already squeezed off emissions standard nationally. He wants the engine put out less emissions and even better fuel economy. Good f n luck with that.

Didn't Ford buy controlling interest in Cummins a few years back? Now that Navistar is out of the picture, maybe Cummins could be the replacement. It would make more sense than the Scorpion motor. I'm a Ford guy and I will be sceptical of this motor for the first couple of years.
