I hope it works out, cause having to pay 60-100 cents more than gas is messed up.

Dude enough with the Obama doom and gloom already. That's like all you post. It's over, he won, let's move on.

I hope this is true and that it helps the costs because this is getting old.

I strongly doubt that the days of diesel @ 50% of gasoline pump price will ever return due to the amount of diesel pickups and the ULSD being on the market, but it should still be at least the same price as gasoline.

in the articl eit said that consumer diesel use has increased 3% a year for a long time. thats why diesel skyrocketed past gas. people were getting diesel passenger vehicles to offset the cost of gas and the companies realized their profit was getting lower on gas and figured they could screw the people by making it non cost effective to buy a diesel.
once passenger diesel vehicle sales reached a 10-15% increase in 2 years they figured it out

all exxon is doing is building up to keep up with demand and supply more diesel to make mor money. the price wont change

Yup. That's exactly what happened in the late 70s, early 80s when GM started releasing propane powered vehicles... Propane was cheap, then when demand went up, so did the price, and eventually nobody bought propane vehicles anymore.

If you read the article its all about the GLOBAL demand, all this diesel will go into a tanker to a foreign country where diesel is higher than it is here. Texas refines way more bio-diesel than anybody, but we cant get any, it all goes overseas.
If you sell widgets and waddels, and the demand for waddels goes up you can raise the price, even though they are cheaper and easier to produce. And you can sell widgets cheaper because of the profit your making on waddels. Econ 101 (waddels=diesel, widgets=gasoline)
