the other day in class our teacher was telling us about the latest and greatest from cummins for the N14 series. supposidly they are useing porcline cylender liners and ceramic pistons. i gess theyve made some of these engines already, and claim 90% heat efficiency?!?!?!?!?

 

I have not heard about this... I did see some info on the new Cummins thats going ion the 1/2 tons ... its a V8

I was under the impression that the N14 was discontinued immediately after the ISX came out?


I keep hearing whispers about Cummins having a camless engine a few years out, but I haven't been able to find a damn thing about it on the Internet.
