I want to jump on my own bandwagon Interaction is definately the way to go on sites such as this. I've seen on other sites, the more active sponsors are in the boards, the more sales they have from those particular boards.

I realize you all also have businesses to run and that takes top priority - but people LOVE to buy from someone they feel they know

Sometimes its easy to forget that we're here to help others, Not to make sales. The sales are a benefit of assisting folks when they need help! To many times I've gotten phone calls says, I bought this off such and such and they wont return my call or help me... Or the sales person to often really has NO Idea of the solution or how to handle situations when the arise! We try to gear our online program as tech support and assisting customers, and if they buy a product , they get the same support! My staff and I pride our selfs in not always knowing the answer as funny as that sounds! When a vendor explains how they know everything and always seems to know the answer ....BEWARE..... We're all just people and all make mistakes, and none of us know it all! Really it boils down to we're here to help when we can, enjoy our time here and if we sell parts in the mean time, GREAT!

 

Well said, I will never claim to know everything, but when I am asked a question that I don't know the answer to, I take that as a personal challenge for the learning experience to get to the bottom of it so when it comes up again in the future I am better prepared. My dad used to tell me, son, not a day should go by that you don't learn something! He was very wise and his guidance is purely missed.
