Default difference between 1st and 2nd gen fuel filter heads?

Can anyone describe, or better yet, show me a picture, explaining the difference between the 1st gen and 2nd gen fuel filter heads? I'm trying to figure out which one I have. Oh, yeah, and btw, I just bought an 06 Sport CRD!
