i bought one for my wife and i love the little thing has good power and fuel economy i get 28-32mpg depending how you drive it the only bad thing is the torque converter is minimal for that diesel .it will shutter under heavy acceleration in overdrive we have put almost 50k on scince bought no big problems to speak of. had to replace intercooler hoses blew a 1 in. hole in it .oh and other thing is they recommend using full synthetic mobil one motor oil and nothing else.all in all i still like this thing alot and would recommend it if you like diesels as much as i do.

daughter's got one. never been sand-stuck out on our beaches, gets good MPG
downside is the torque converter (when will they learn??) and the occasional electronic hiccup where the computer forgets to upshift, downshift or send injection pulses.

overall, though, I'd give it a good, solid "A"

Drove it from Corpus Christi to Salt Lake City a couple of weeks ago. The tranny stays "locked" and the VGT constricts down to provide a little bit of exhaust-braking when going downhill.

That was a pleasant surprise.
