DEADBEAT at DYNODAY
Theft of services. Misdemenor crime. With malice and forethought. Or maybe just a little forgetfulness?
On our May 16th dynoday, ITD dynoday # 24 that was held at MOTOR MAYHEM in Meridian Idaho, something happened that has never happened in the 8 years our club, the IDAHO TURBO DIESELS, has been putting on dyno events. A dishonest diesel pickup driver, who was NOT an ITD member arrived at the dynoday with the intention of dynoing and not paying.
This individual, Theran Kolp signed up the registration form and intentionally used a phony number that was not his. So with malice and forethought this guy intentionally commits the misdemeanor crime of THEFT OF SERVICES. If it is indeed just a mistake, he has had time to contact MM and make arrangements. The time is now for him to get off the pot and make it right before LAW ENFORCEMENT helps him make it right. His choice. I must repeat it is a misdemeanor crime and evidence shows it was an intentional act. A. Giving the receptionist false info at registration time. Fortunately pics of the driver, and vehicle, and a plate shot are ready to be handed to LAW ENFORCEMENT. The vin of the 91 Dodge is on file as the receptionist copied that down off of the trucks vin plate.
The guy was in such a hurry to skip out w/o paying that he did his dyno and ran off in a cloud of smoke without even taking time to get his dyno sheet. His friends were there to see the dyno number, apparently, and read it off the screen. Theran was off in a hurry and a minute later his 4 buds in the red 3rd gen 2500 driven by Tony Brown were off behind him in a cloud of smoke also.
DEAD BEAT OF THE DAY. DYNOED AND SKIPPED WITH OUT PAYING.
Here are pics of him and his red 91, or 91.5 dodge cummins reg cab dually.
