Don't know about modifying the wheel itself. I know most D-Max guys don't try to run the H2 center caps as they don't clear the ff axles. Most trim the stock GMC/Sierra center caps and use the stock lugs to fit them on the H2 rims. I'll look at the other forums to see what the dodge guys are doing.

Jamie - When I did a google search I saw some posts on TDR that outline the mod. Looks like a simple ream on the bore to open it up a few.

id have to have some one ream the hole out for me. id mess it up if i tried. be like the exhaust manifold i cut off with a plasma cutter.

They are using a hand-held router. I just finished cleaning up the first set. These are nice wheels - a little heavier than my 16" stock steel wheels. These H2s weigh around 33lbs each. I have a set factory silverado center caps on the way to trim up to fit on a set. Now if I just had a truck to mount these on....

It is not done at all...better done slow I guess. The ATS twin set-up they bolted on the green Dodge had an un-fused weld seam on one of the boost tubes. So much for ATS quality control.
