Newbie looking for info
Pulled a FD46TA engine from a 1999 UD and putting it into a 1990 V3500. Pulled the complete wiring harness from the UD also. I'm wanting to split the harness open to dissect just the trans & engine controls but having trouble finding a wiring diagram.
This is my first diesel build, so i'm trying to learn the systems. The injection pump is a Zexel (the tag as a bunch of number groupings, I guessing that the pump number is 16700 29D12)
is there another name to search for it?
I've ran the engine without the computer plugged in (but very poor running condition) is there a away to modify the pump to eliminate the ECU?
