nobody is bullying. id put my notorious 6.0 up against a dodge anytime, and you would put your dodge up against a ford..... i was just sayin that more people said to keep the ford on this thread.

If the trans is the only thing wrong, build the trans...

OR go buy some other truck and wait for that transmission to give up too... It's a weak point on all the makes.. Just fix it and move on...

Every truck will have issues, if you went around selling a vehicle everytime it had an issue, you will lose your **** in vehicle taxes...

Fix the tranny save up some money and buy you a cummins. In my eyes ford messed up when they put the 6.0 in there trucks. I am a big fan of the ford 7.3 and if they would have kept it I would have one. Say what you want but I think the law suit speaks for it self regarding the 6.0

All I have to say is fawk Dodge.......My fords I lost the colant system and headgaskets. The 98.4 24v good luck finding out the electrical issues on that pig. My 08 was at the dealer more than i had it and my 04 would die every time you turn the wheels. Dodge is an electrical nightmare. I would own a brand new one though. But with my fords and chevys the problems have all been something expensive but fixable. They have never been in the shop for 2 months chaseing wires.

I wondering what electrical problem y'all are talking about? Been around these forums for yrs. and haven't read a whole of electrical problem threads. Mostly about Trans and fuel problems.

i agree with most, thier are a lot of people building rock solid transmissions, or you can swap to a six speed. keep the ford.

ive got a 96 f250 truck (old body style) love it to death, so to keep it goin longer im swapping in a 94 p pumped 12v, put a cummins in it then youll never have to worry about it... best of both worlds

If you were going to get a newer CR cummins MANUAL, it would be worth it. Anything else and you would be downgrading
