Default SMOKE'T OUT

SO TODAY WAS MY LAST DAY AT THE SHOP WHERE I WORK, SO I HAD FUN TEST DRIVING CUSTOMERS VEHICLES, I WAS DRIVING A 2000 RAM 3500 DUALLY WITH A TURNED UP 24 VALVE, BIG TURBO, 5 INCH EXHAUST, ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES, SO I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT, POWER BRAKED IT A LITTLE, (JUST TO SEE WHAT THE TURBO WAS BOOSTING AT LOW RPM) AND I TOOK OFF AT A STOP LIGHT GOT ABOUT 20 YARDS FROM THE LIGHT AND A TOYOTA CAMRY PULLS UP AND THE DRIVER YELLS "GET THAT SH*T FIXED BITCH!" AT WHICH POINT I REALIZE I FILLED HIS ENTIRE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT WITH THICK BLACK DIESEL SOOT, AND THEN PROCEEDED TO LAUGH MY *** OFF ALL THE WAY TO THE NEXT EXIT A MILE DOWN THE HIGHWAY!

but on a serious note, we did a ratio change from 3.55s to a 4.10, and it seemed to me like the shift points were off, it was a 2000 and i assume its got the 47re, or what ever the dodge auto is, does anyone know if that truck will learn how to run with those gears or if it needs to be re-programed?

This is why I work on my own stuff. If someone did that to my truck they would get a beating.

So let me get this straight: you are abusing a customer's truck in a test drive for which you are not qualified, and enjoy annoying other motorists with excessive smoke? Is that about right?

Let me guess: you were either fired or laid off to make room for a slightly more intelligent grease monkey.

wow you're a nice guy, yes i abused a customers vehicle by driving it normally, and by slightly loading the engine by holding the brake and toutching the throttle for a few seconds to get a feel of how the turbo acted, and some how i am responsible for how the owner of the truck has his fuel system tuned, and the ridiculous amount of soot this guys truck put out is my fault.

I would love to hear why im not qualified to drive a pickup truck down the feeder road? I guess the fact that i was the only employee there that has a class a commercial drivers license just isnt enough.

and no friend, i was not fired, they dont fire you and then ask you to give them two weeks, I actually took a job offer with Peterbilt because they were offering me about 4 dollars an hour more than what im currently making.

It was supposed to be a funny story about how someone else's poorly tuned diesel got me yelled at, but Its real nice that you take it as i must be an idiot, and that i got fired for being an in-ept grease monkey who is not qualified to drive a dodge truck.you should call my service manage and ask him what type of employee i was, his name is marvin he will be back on tuesday, 512 454 1488
