Diesel Heroes: Innovators of Industry

The People Behind DieselGrowing up, my heroes included Cris Carter, Kirby Puckett, and Dan Gladden. These professional athletes all played on Minnesota teams, delivered under pressure, and put forth superhuman efforts to help the team. I collected their rookie-year trading cards, which were worth good money at one time. I’d also try to imitate their diving one-hand catches, headfirst slides, and I even had an awesome mullet haircut just like Mr. Gladden. Today, my hair is short in the back and my favorite heroes have changed.
