2011 Diesel Power Challenge Winner

Rocky Horn and his ’97 Ford F-350So the question here is, how did Rocky Horn and his Ford overcome some of the baddest trucks in the country—as well as last year’s winner—to become the champion of Diesel Power Challenge 2011? Well, for starters, Rocky didn’t go about changing his vehicle’s combination around right before the event. His F-350 already had the most bulletproof parts he could find for it, including a 5.9L Cummins engine, Ford E4OD, and Dana 80 rear axle. The only things added to the truck after we invited Rocky to the event were a miniscule 0.050-inch jet of nitrous, and an updated transmission with the latest forged (not billet) internal parts from Brian’s Truck Shop.
