Reman nv5600 with greater oil capacity and cross drilled gears for better oil flow on the way, along with a new southbend dd clutch . Any suggestions from anybody before I start putting all this back together, also can anybody loan me 4 or 5 thousand dollars .

 

just dont speed shift the 6 speed and it willlast forever

And make sure you use the proper trans fluid. Either the Mopar stuff made specifically for it or something like Amsoil's Syncromesh Manual Transmission oil. Regular ol' "gear oil" will fry it quicker than anything.

 

How exactly do you define speed shifting? Im sure Ive done it I just would like to know exactly what it is you're referring to.
