Striker 1 Weirdness
I got the Striker 1 box for my '03 Cummins 305/555 a few months ago. I run it in FE mode pretty much all of the time to get better mileage out of the truck. Sometimes, and it seems like it's happening more often now for some reason, it feels as if the truck is pumping the gas pedal a little all by itself. This happens while the truck is going down the highway or when it's standing still and idling. The motor will speed up a little, slow down a little a second or two later, then speed up again a little, and so on. If it's just sitting there idling sometimes the RPM's will bounce up and down. Then sometimes it goes back to normal by itself or I can set the box to 0 to make it stop.
So it seems like an intermittent thing, because 95% of the time the truck runs just fine. Any ideas as to what might be causing it?

Will it do this in any setting other than 0? Also when you turn the key on with out starting the truck and click mode until you get to fuel pressure is it set to 0? My dads truck is doing the same thing and it has been determined that the fuel pressure sensor is failing. We disconnected the harness and the problem still was there. If you harness came with the bypass pigtail unhook the module and plug in the bypass. See if the problem goes away. If not then we need to un hook the harness from under the hood and run it on the factory wiring. If the problem still exists then it is more than likely the same issue that is going on with my dad's truck. If at any time the problem goes away while you go through these steps feel free to call me at the office. (817)244-6212 ext. 1016 and we can look into what is going on and get the problem fixed. P.S. sorry for the delay on my response! I'm normally a little better about checking in here every day.
