Yes, and yes...
and it also lets you see how well your turbo is working or not working.
Stock turbo at 25# boost will have about 35# of drive pressure. At 35# boost on a stock turbo the drive pressures are in the 65# range!!!
1 to 1 is best, but most at peak are around 1 to 1.25 or so... My H2e runs 1 to 1 until about 40psi, then at peak I am 52# boost at 65 or so EBP.

Huuuuummmm buy a better gauge...
Make sure if your using a mecanical gauge that you get a snubber or the gauge will bounce on the EBP side.
