Oh, readings are close, variances of a couple of degrees don't matter anyway- more important is slew rate or response time of the sender. If they are not shown or mentioned I would step back.

They are all very accurate.

...and engine oil temperature. It is the direct indicator of engine load. After a while you will recognize that oil temperature and pressure are, of course, direct related. I prefer oil temperature because oil temperature tells you when you can hit the pedal or on the otherside it's time to let loose.

As CSI already mentioned Boost and EGT are a must have.( to be continued!)

Accuracy:
Look, electrical gauges are commonly sold in two classes. Class 2 and class 1, that means they have a variance of 2% or 1% of the scale end value.Thats pretty nothing-or 2.5°F on a 250°F scale.

Of course you can get class 0.2 or class 0.1- but we talk about the extra mile (extra money=rocket sience)here.

I would steer away from a HPO gauge, its just a pretty neddle that moves back and forth. Get a Scan gauge if your wanting to look at HPO, then you can look at both HPO and duty cycle to really see if something is going on.

Skip the HPO and get a oil temp, oil pressure gauge...

The best set up IMHO would be Pyro, Boost, EBP, Tranny on the A pillar and then Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure and Water temp in a under dash pod...
