Yea and all the people that says ford is getting cummins. Or that cat is goin to power ford. People need to read and research things before they open there mouths

 

Yep some say Ford owns Cummins Some say Dodge does.Neither own Cummins.Cat will not spend the money to build a small high horse engine for a civilian vehicle.Now they have stopped building highway engines all together.You don't see Detroit Diesels in a small truck either.More money less hassle in the big stuff.
I have seen a 3208 in a Ford and in a GMC one ton.Not from the factory.

 

CAT just designed the HEUI fuel system and released it in 93...then international used that same setup on the powerstroke in 94. but CAT didnt build the engine... some people are stupid and the only reason they are alive is because murder is illegal

im not sure what series detroit it is, but u can get 1 that bolts up to the stock tranny in the dodges with 5.9...never seen one, but saw it in a diesel mag where they were doing it...thats been several years ago tho

I had to, the friggin beast in front of it shreds cheap transmissions.

 

Oh yeah, I hear the whole "Ford is getting Cummins" thing from people all the time. Most of it is from my friends who are Ford gasser guys.

I think secretly they just wish they had a Dodge with a Cummins in it.

Heck if I was a Ford gasser guy (no more) I would take a Dodge Cummins, or any diesel for that matter

 

I've been asked if I'd had any problems with my glowplugs......I have a 5.9. I just smile and say, yup.....my truck is missing em.

 

I have had people ask me this in my Jeep, Needless to say they wont be asking anymore after I dropped my pants (granted I may have prooved them right but was still funny)
