hiniker is really popular up here or at least it seems to be among the guys that do it commercially or semi-commercially.

i didn't know fisher was that bus buying people. Lol.

i lived in east TN for a few years. it sure was different down there than it was up here. they'd shut the world down over 1 inch of snow. i was sure disappointed when i moved up here at the age of 10 and found out it took a lot more snow to shut the schools down.

I think thats been an average over the past few years. We usually end up with more ice and freezing rain. I think we had about 3" of ice last year in a few hours, then roughly 18-20" of snow on top. Two years ago we got 3" of ice, 15" of snow, and another 3" of ice on christmas eve. My plow truck was froze to the ground. Took me 2 hours to get it out.

Ok after looking up Hiniker I saw those last year at one of the trade shows.

There plows are built very well but are heavy. I had one on the front of a 3500HD Chevy and had to put helpers on the front.

My old man's got a Meyer and it seems pretty bad. He used to have an old one from like 1970 that he had on 3 trucks (International Scout, 82 GMC K10, 96 Dodge 2500 V10) and it was awesome. IMO any minute mount snow plow is no where near half as good as a regular older style one with the plow frame that stays on the truck. If I were to put a plow on my truck it would probally be an older one like those.

Edit: oh yeah, I voted for Boss. That V-Plow they make is sweet.
