Default Flat Bed

Hey anyone know of a good flat bed manufacturer. And what would you recommend steel or aluminum. I was leaning towards steel just for the extra weight so the drive would be a little better with more weight. A empty dually is a pain to drive sometimes I would like to pull my bed off my dually and install a flatbed with boxes above and under the bed. Having a 4x4 dually with a bed on it is finally getting to me. Maybe I'm not tall enough but to reach over the bed rails and try to get something out is damn near impossible and I'm tired of having to jump in and out of the truck to get something. I have my trailer that I haul but there are so many times that I don't have my trailer and would love to have my tools on the truck. Would love to hear some feedback from you guy's Thanks

imo only reason to get an aluminum flat bed would be if u hauled heavy and had to cross the scales and pushing the limit.

my two cents is dont go aluminum all the ones i have seen dont seem to hold up to use. If its a working truck go with steel. CM, Bradford, and JI are the three i see most often.

That depends if you live in the north where they use rock salt to treat the roads you'd be better off with aluminum. I've seen many steel flatbeds and utility bodys here in NY that are rusted to hell
