DIY two stage turbo....
Well it really depends. If the exhaust side had a pipe directly into the muffler it could work. this is how a lot of gas cars get aftermarket turbos. they replace the muffler usually, not put them on the outside of the muffler. I really doubt, they way this is set up, it would work.
like I said replace the muffler and yea you would get boost just not as much as having the turbo closer to the engine. theres a lot of boost lost from the transportation from where the mufflers are up to the intake manifold.

I bet they work, gassers wastegate out alot of the boost they make, they cant take the crazy boost we can so them being that far back is not the end of the world. The biggest drawback of the turbos that far back is that you lose alot of the velocity of teh exhaust becasue the temps have cooled down. They look pretty well thought out, I would assume the mufflers are blocked off were they need to be to diverte the exhaust to teh turbo.
I bet it makes for one hell of a stealth set-up...
