whats up guys, brand new to the forum here! i hated on diesel trucks forever, then i realized that diesel if the way of the future and just flat out badass!!!! so im looking @ gettin a chevy duramax from like 01-05. and i was just wondering if their allison trannys were in all their diesels?

 

Some duramax's came w/ the ZF 6 speed manual but they're rare. I'd say thay probably 98 % of duramax's had an Allison behind them.

 

allison or zf6 in all the pickups, however the vans had a 4l85e or something.

 

what they said, the zf-6's are like unicorns u can never find them, they were in 01-06 dmax trucks
