Default Question for manufacturers and retailers.

Hello I am just curious as to how much it would cost potentially to build this truck in chevy version with twin screws. I am looking for ballpark.

That's pretty much a loaded question here. It would take days to put together a list of all the components it would take to build this truck and even then would be so full of various options that it would be impossible to answer this with any sort of accuracy at all, Even to within the thousands of dollars.

Even after you get all the outside just for looks stuff figure up you have to come up with a list of the supporting equipment needed to make the truck functional.

Not to mention that no one vendor that I know of on this site or not would be a dealer for everything needed to do this project so it would have to be a team effort.

It is cool though.

I was just curious since when I finally get out of law school I will finally be able to have my toy with Big Den on the license plate! I was just wondering. again a ballpark but I know the tires are like 7K or something ridiculous like that!

The issue comes into having the suspension and steering upgrades to support those tires, the additional low end grunt to get em rollin, the upgraded brakes to stop them. Just in those issues alone there is hundreds of combination's of options to could be thousands of dollars of difference. All these options would be based on brand preferences, intended use for the truck, money you want to spend, how long the truck can be down and final desired outcome for HP. And all this is just the one aspect of the build.

As for HP im a torque guy, but this would be a build right after I buy the truck brand new. I would want to be still able to tow a house essentially.

well the 5.73 ratio of rockwell you will be able to pull alot but the bigger the tires the less the ratio and i would get a manual truck ur lookin in the end prolly low ball park 65 k and that might be to low being the cheapest cummins in like 35k

you bring it out to california and just feed me money for parts and i will build what ever you want thats about the best i can say with out knowing all the parts you really want for it as for, tire size, rim size and style, suspension types (leafs/coils/coil overs/etc), Axles, yada yada yada. as for being that large and still being useful for hauling or working I personally wouldn't see it being very useful or comfortable to drive.

Really eh? (Insert American comment about Canada here) For axles I really want to run rockwells at 2.5 tons, as for tires 40's or above, rims preferably 17's with leafs and coils hope that helps, the fact that no one has done is just more motivation!

I'd be willin to bet on over $85G just for truck and parts, and another $20-30,000 for labor. the truck will be useless for anything but events cause it's not gonna be street legal. It sure will look purty ridin on that trailer though.

Ok well what would you do if you knew my intentions and wanted a daily driver then? Let's say if I toned it down with the tires and wanted 38's or something like that in the back I am still stuck since to my limited knowledge no one enjoys a lifted dually like I do... I know Kelderman makes a nice kit for the 2500 but I want a dually!

that's a video of a ford that is street legal and a dually! 2 problems its a ford and secondly I hate the big rig look, id rather run Super Swamps for the woods. hope that gives an indication of where I am heading with my inspiration...
