I just arrived! It was a wise decision to request advice. Thanks to you all!

The first part was like stop and go and I got stuck in a traffic accident.
Two cars were crashing into each other and blocking the Autobahn. Speed was decellerated down to 40miles per hour.

This was the easy part. The last 50 miles I had to put the snow chains on. Snow was on the road at least one foot high.
I could see several abandoned cars on the roadside. I felt really good having some warm coffee and enough to eat for at least 2 days along with me. I kept my sleeping bag with me just in case.
About 10 miles before arriving, I saw a Honda Jazz with two students in it. They were slid into the ditch. She said she couldn't steer the car. So it was ice below the snow. I pulled them out with the steel tow cable-it ripped out that tow hook nicely. But the front air dam was wasted anyways.

Damn, I'm so happy having the tire chains.
They followed me slowly, because I told them I won't pull them out twice.

I will have a shower now and then go directly to bed. The news told already more than 35 towns have no access and no electric power supply.
Im glad that I have taken the advice to leave early- and to keep great distance. It is for sure really, really important.
