Default quick question

my front driver side is leaning like crazy i think the shocks are going bad is this a hard fix and if not what bran d would be good for me it on my 6.9 auto 2wd 1983

first thing would be to look under it and see what is wrong. Could be several things, could also be a shot shock, but unlikely. the springs are what holds the truck up in position....shocks just dampen the load

you hit the nail right on the head with that one. I would start by checking springs and hangers making sure everything is good 1st.

if you are just wanting shocks though kyb shocks are cheap and carried at most auto parts stores they are gas charged and work just fine for stock applications.

ok the springs look realy rusty but the shocks look shot too how hard isw to cahnge them both out

shouldn't be too hard just a floor jack and jack stands I know that's how my buddy did the springs in his truck and shocks are easy.
