2004 Duramax

just bought 04 Duramax with LB7, will be towing 13000lb. fifthwheel. Did I screw up and get the wrong year and motor? If not, what should be done to increase hp and torque?

Why do you say 04 is a bad year ,duramax is lucky they dont have a 6.0 like powerstroke. Many mods can make tons of power with a LB7.You can do air coming in or air going out for more HP.

I'm using a Bully dog tuner on mine and it works great. There are a lot of programmers out there that work well. PPE is also really good.

nope, u picked a good year. if you keep up with the regular maintenece you will have no problems with it.
