My question is if a truck is totaled and bought from an insurance auction and the truck still has factory waranty left, is the waranty voided because it was totaled? I would assume it would be voided however I thought somebody may have delt with this issue before and knew for sure. Thanks

 

You can always ask the dealer but in general most warranties will not transfer if they do they are reduced like if it had a 100,000 mile warranty it could be reduced to 35,000 after transfer i think

 

once a vehicle is totaled the original title is surrendered and then a new title is issued as a salvage title, any balance on the warrenty will be void at that time
