in the days of old. before the smoke/soot. what would you do if some boddie was riding your *** on the highway.. stomp your brakes. make them panic and hit there breakes. and get off your ***.now days you dont hit your brakes. you fogg them and they really stay off your ***. street racers. the have been trying to stop that stuff sence i was a kid. they still race. and make movies about it.cant waite tell the moveis about the diesel trucks blowing smoke comes out. I hate to say it. but we can bitch and moan all we want. but it will not stop kids/20s in ther 30s or 40s or 50s strop blowing smoke. its the kid in us all. i have seen some of the guys on comp-d say the same stuff... but if you look on you tube.. there they are doing the same crap.. but now its not ok.. but last week it was ok for them to do it.. i wish you all luck on trying to get this stopped. but i think you all are barking up a big ole empty tree...

 

Then why do people complain every time the EPA screws us over with another regulation?

Then why do people complain every time the USFS or BLM closes more recreational land?

Then why do people complain when gun control legislation comes around?

Shouldn't we all just "deal with it" then?

We can take responsibility for our actions or take it in the wallet.....it's our choice and unfortunately it looks like that is what "we the people" really want after all.

ill take responsibility for my actions and you take responsibility for yours. To me this goes back to when the staff of other diesel sites wanted me to be involved in a summit to prevent people from acting like asshats at diesel events.

Im no one to you or anyone else , just because im a staff member here ..big deal , im not going to tell someone that what they are doing is wrong, they will learn on there own , they are not my kids or responsibillity.

As for action on this site they are not taken upon the members to fix there problems , problems are acted upon out of obligations i feel to the members who are not asshats.

I blow black smoke for my own personal enjoyment mostly when im on an empty highway just to see how much i can lay down. this is not showing off or pissing anyone off , im alone and just messing around , does this make me an uneducated irresponsible bomber? or does it make me a fan? I think its cool and if you were to start a poll im sure it would be majorly lop sided as to rather black smoke is cool or not

Rather i blow smoke on SR13 or I70 its not going to do anything towards rather they ban it or not. There are already laws against it . No one gets hurt ! Black smoke saved my wife and son and both my nefews life .... a fellow bomber on here was following my wife from school where they picked up there kids.... my wife was turning left .... the guy was looking at his kids test papers then looked up and seen my wife turning but it was too late , he mashed it and my wife seen the black smoke in here passenger side mirror and stoped mid turn as he flew past ... he then turned around and came to my house and appoligized he had no where to go and didnt have time to stop , if jenny wouldnt of seen the smoke and stoped they would be dead.

So thats 4 lifes saved by black smoke , show me 1 news story where someone was killed by it.

Stoke them up and let the coal roll

it dont matter what a diesel do or does they will bitch about the smoke, or bitch about the knocking it does in the parking lot setting and idleing,
i dont think it matters what we will do. they will complain about them.. even the fuel we burn. wasnt good enuff.. so they made bio, and soybean fuel, even tho we are recycling the used oils for them, ohhh its still not good enuff...

When I came to the US I also thought about freedom- wow, thats the country of freedom!

But with time I found out, that you aren't that free! You (Americans) have so many weird laws, rules and no-no's.
It is allowed to have a smoke blowing truck, but you aren't allowed to go faster than 65 or 70 miles per hour. You don't get alcohol on Sunday mornings at the gas station before 12 o'clock. Heck, what is that?
They take your bottle of beer away at a quarter to 2 in the morning in the bar.
You aren't allowed to have alcohol inside the passenger compartment?
Girls have to wear a top at the beach? Why? What kind of moral is this? America has the biggest **** industry in the world...
You are allowed to carry arms.Cool! And if a sign states you are not allowed to stay at that point of view to watch the dawn after 10pm you risk a fine if you do.

You have so many crazy rules. But important things or things that do not make sense are allowed. Like blowing smoke...

 

I too think some of that is funny. The land of the free to the south of me has as you say many things that make you say hmmm.

In Canada we have some strange ones too but it far fewer when it comes to beer, late nights and even driving. Certain times of the year where I live the bars are open 24 hours. Last call for the rest of the year is 3AM for the most part and our speed limit max's out at 110 km/h but one could argue that in areas that is only a suggestion (albeit unwritten). Oh yeah and we are legal between 18 and 19 with some saying that this should be lowered still to help with the reduction of binge drinking. My parents are from EU so alcohol was never an issue in my house growing up. I had my first beer with my old man at the ripe old age of 6 and hated it by the way. Boy how things change.

 

Don't get me wrong! I still love this country and its habbits, otherwise I wouldn't have joined the Dieselbombers!

Anyway, my point is, it was your wifes attentiveness, not necessarily the smoke, that save her and the kids (not to mention a little help from beyond).
