Hood Stack ?

Ok, Looks like you need some experence in this situation.....Ive done quite a lot of work on this subject!
I put a Hood Stack on my Dodge back in 05.....Had one ever since! Not once have I had a problem with Police or other people. Most of the time they dont even know what it is! Heck between 05-07 I was in college and lived 3 blocks from downtown....NO ONE cared. Granted i leved a block away from a crack house....but thats another story!
Now this is in Indiana and I have talked to numerious DOT and State troopers on the subject and the only thing they could find wrong would be excessive smoke. Other than that, they have nothing to get a hoodstack with. Now WY laws might be different!
So, 4 years driving a hoodstack all over the midwest......No Problems what so ever!

I can see a cop stopping you, especially since it will be painfully obvious you aren't running a muffler(guilty as well). Some may not care, but just wait for the cop who got smoked out in his civilian car by a careless diesel driver and now has a chip on his shoulder.

well i talked to a local police-man that i know today while out crusin. asked him what he thought of the stack and said cool...what does it do other than being the exhaust pipe?
Told him nothing. He then said well does it shoot flames? Told him well not yet but soon. He told me that might be a problem. I then said well is it safe to assume that if i don't drive like an a$$ then i wont be botherd? he said correct. so if im not being an idiot i guess it's okay
