As far as I can tell, Wyoming doesn't have a muffler law, but I read an article that was about a poll of the quietest citys in the US. Cheyenne is #2, due to strick noise ordinances. So, who knows. Take it easy in city limits, you could be just fine. Just don't drive to Nevada, you'll get a $1500.00 fine for no muffler. Hell, there are signs all around where I live that say noise and muffler laws are inforced, and I am straight piped and loud as hell. Plus, I have a rain cap that is so damn loud (TINK TINK TINK TINK), that I'm taking it off, cause I'm self-concious and I don't need any extra attention from Johnny Law. Let 'er buck till ya get caught, then you'll know.

Like I said, there are actual signs posted on the roads around here, and UMM... Sturgis Rally??? Hundreds of Harleys riding in a group makes qute a ruckus, I guess if there is an ordinance, it doesn't mean it's always strictly enforced. Plus, your stack looks sick.

They way I understand the law is the exhaust must exit above or behind the cab. So your stack needs to be taller, above roof line.
