Just wondering if anyone is running a M085171 Donaldson muffler. It's 4" in and out, 8" Dia. and 40" long. The specs show it flows 3119 CFM. I was wondering what it sounds like, if it was stock OEM sounding or was it a notch less than a straight pipe. I am currently running a straight 4" system (no resinator or muffler) and I like the sound running empty but would like to turn the volumn down when pulling but not too much. Oh! I am thinking of putting it on an 2003 Cummins Ram. Any thoughts on mufflers would be helpfull. Thanks!

Thanks Whitmore! How long have had it on your truck and is it showing any major signs of rusting out? I don't want to waist the money on an exhaust to find out it is going to fall apart in a few years.

 

its been on there since 01 , I trashed the OEM system just a few months after buying the truck .............the Donaldson is still perfect
