4" Donaldson Muffler
 

Just wondering if anyone is running a M085171 Donaldson muffler. It's 4" in and out, 8" Dia. and 40" long. The specs show it flows 3119 CFM. I was wondering what it sounds like, if it was stock OEM sounding or was it a notch less than a straight pipe. I am currently running a straight 4" system (no resinator or muffler) and I like the sound running empty but would like to turn the volumn down when pulling but not too much. Oh! I am thinking of putting it on an 2003 Cummins Ram. Any thoughts on mufflers would be helpfull. Thanks!

Thanks Whitmore! :5: How long have had it on your truck and is it showing any major signs of rusting out? I don't want to waist the money on an exhaust to find out it is going to fall apart in a few years.

its been on there since 01 , I trashed the OEM system just a few months after buying the truck .............the Donaldson is still perfect :5:
