I was just wondering what is involved in converting a single wheel rearend to dually. In Ontario, maximum width for a vehicle or trailer is 102" or 8.5ft. Would it be possible to bolt up a set of dually rims to the stock Dana 60? Not a big deal if they stick out more then a factory dually as long as they are within the law. I plan on having a set of custom fender flares made, so no need to worry there. If not possible and a "dually" rearend is needed, is the suspension the same as mine?

Finally, I am very impressed with the Cummins engine. Gobs of Torque and still averages 22-27mpg!!!

Thanks
Re-posting as The 1st Gen. Cummins Board is not very active. Anybody ever done this?

you can't just bolt on dually rims on the first gens the inside tire will hit the inner wheel well you have to buy the spacer kit or find a dually rearend they are wider, i tried it on my 1990 and a friend tried it on his 1993 with the same result
