Default Titan Tank Full issue...

Hey guys,
I left home last week with a full tank of fuel. From what I recall, when I filled my tank, I filled it right to full and it wouldn't fill any further; I don't think it was just foaming up and causing the pump to kick back, and the fuel gage indicated to me that it was completely full. Anyways, I drove 926miles or so, and the digital readout on the dash indicated that I had used 43 gallons of fuel....then the low fuel indicator went on... I was on the Coquahala Highway heading east towards Meritt... Something doesn't seem right to me...the tank capacity is 56 gallons, and I went completely empty at 47 gallons. Could there be a blockage somewhere in the tank? I'm not sure what the tank is designed like, if there's a seperate section that may not have been getting any fuel. Any recommendations?
Would getting the tank flushed be a good idea?

I'm going to try filling the tank up completely this week and record how much fuel it will hold to determine if there is still a discrepancy in the capacity.

Bully Dog Tuner now installed

There ya go right there ^^ The tune fools the ECM into thinking it's putting in less fuel than it actually is.

Ok so I filled up last night and learned two things:

1) The digital readout is actually accurate at measuring the amount of fuel consumed and seems consistent
2) Based on the amount of fuel burned and added, my tank is indeed filling up 9 gallons short to 47 instead of 56, pretty much bang on. My guess is that there's a second compartment that isn't getting filled and has some kind of a block in whatever pipes, but I'm not familiar at all with the actual design of titan tanks.

That being said...What should I do? A simple flush, or take the whole thing apart?

one of these blue tubes could be blocked causing that last chamber to the right no not "vent" and fill correctly......

I just got a call from Titan, and that's exactly what they told me. Sounds like the front chamber isn't venting.
I'm going to take a look on Friday when I change my oil and see if I can't get it sorted out.

Thanks for the responses guys.

Well, I took a look and despite what Titan told me it looks pretty difficult to replace the pipes or unplug the vent without dropping the tank... Another project for another day.
